The objectives of this course are to learn the history of space exploration and the elements of space engineering.
This course focuses on reading and put no emphasis on hearing, speaking, and writing.

Course goals are as follows,
1. to understand technical terms of space exploration and space engineering without dictionaries,
2. to understand the elements of space engineering in English,
3. to understand the history of space exploration in English.

Preparation: To translate 1 page in an English text book into Japanese
Reviewal: To translate parts that was learned into Japanese and To conduct homework
It takes 1.5 hours to conduct preparation and reviewal.

30 %: Questions and comments in class
40 %: Presentation of Japanese translation
30 %: Homework
